DAY 1: HANOI – QUAN BA – YEN MINH (L, D)
Upon arrival at Hanoi International airport, the vehicles and guide of ABI Holidays will pick up us and depart for Ha Giang. Have a break en route for breakfast.
On the way to Yen Minh, we will conquer and see Bac Sum Slope 7km long, standing from
the top of the mountain, watching the whole road of Doc Voi with wonderful feelings.
Passing through Quan Ba, we stop at Quan Ba Heaven Gate and admire the panoramic view
of Tam Son town, nestled beside the Co Tien Twin Mountain, an artwork of the Creator bestowed on this land. Upon arrival in Yen Minh, check in hotel and rest.
Have dinner at a restaurant in town. Afterwards we will be free to enjoy the tranquility of the town. Overnight in Yen Minh.
DAY 2: YEN MINH – DONG VAN – LUNG CU – MA PI LENG PASS (B, L, D)
After check-out hotel and having breakfast, the vehicle will take us to Dong Van Stone Plateau, also known as the ‘’Ha Giang loop’’. Ha Giang loop is typical for the geography of North Vietnam. On the way, we will visit Sung La Valley, Dong Van District, known for many people from the good movie “Pao’s Story”. The Lung Cu flagpole is the next, it’s the northernmost place of Vietnam at Lung Cu peak, where each Vietnamese sees as a symbol of national sovereignty. Have lunch at the restaurant. Check in hotel and rest.
In the afternoon, we will conquer one of the most famous “Four Great Peaks of Vietnam’’, including Ma Pi Leng Pass with an altitude of 2000m above the sea, with steep slopes and winding sleeves, bringing a thrilling yet enjoyable experience. Boarding a boat upstream of Nho Que, through Tu San gorge, we can see the majesty of Ha Giang heaven and earth (the boat trip is an alternative, not inclusive).
After boarding our vehicle back to the center of Dong Van, we will have dinner at a local restaurant, then hang around in Dong Van Old Town. Overnight in Dong Van.
DAY 3: DONG VAN – PAC BO – CAO BANG (B, L, D)
After breakfast, we will set-off to conquer the ‘’Happy Road’’ between Dong Van and Meo Vac, which is famous for its difficulties when it was built during the American – Vietnam War and bypass Ma Pi Leng pass, one of the “four great passes” of the North, then go on to Cao Bang Province.
The majestic view from above looking down along this route quickly turns the road into a legend for all visitors, from adventure tourists to experienced people. On the way to Cao Bang, we will conquer more passes with beautiful scenery of mountains and forests such as Giang pass, Gio pass and Cao Bac pass.
After Lunch at a local restaurant, our vehicle will take us to Truong Ha commune, Ha Quang District to to Pac Bo Cave, a historical site, a place attached to Ho Chi Minh and his associates during the first Indochinese War, so called the French-Vietnam War. Beside the historical value, Pac Bo Cave possesses a poetic beauty with stops near Lenin Stream, and Karl Marx Mountain. Have dinner at a restaurant and overnight in Cao Bang.
DAY 4: CAO BANG – KHUOI KY STONE VILLAGE – NGUOM NGAO CAVE – BAN GIOC WATERFALL (B, L, D)
After breakfast at the hotel, we will get on our vehicle to head to Khuoi Ky Stone Village, with original houses on stilts, bringing the very own beauty of the Northeast mountains. We will also visit Nguom Ngao Cave (Tiger Cave), one of the largest and most beautiful caves in the North with a very unique stalactite system. (Lunch at a local restaurant between visits)
Go on this afternoon to visit more famous beautiful scenery of Cao Bang at Ban Gioc Waterfall, a waterfall with a height of 53m, dividing into 3 floors; it’s considered the most beautiful waterfall in Vietnam and the largest waterfall in Southeast Asia, one of the great waterfalls located at the borders of 2 countries in the world as a natural watershed. Then our guide will take us to dinner at a local restaurant before checking in to the hotel. Overnight at Ban Gioc Waterfalls.
DAY 5: BAN GIOC WATERFALL – BA BE LAKE (B, L, D)
Have breakfast at Hotel. After that, we will move to the boat dock in Ba Be Lake in Tay village. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Then we will get on a boat to explore Dau Dang waterfall and learn about the life, culture, and habits of ethnic minority villages living on the mountainside by the lake. Being one of the greatest freshwater lakes in Northeast Vietnam, Ba Be Lake is green all year round and Boat trip on the lake are attractive not only to visitors but scientists and students thanks to its rare flora and fauna. Tonight we will have dinner with delicious mountain cuisine and relax after several days of running by car.

DAY 6: BA BE LAKE – HA NOI – DEPARTURE (B, L)
After breakfast, we will pack our luggage and enjoy Ba be lake scenery on the way from the Lake to Hanoi. Lunch on the way back.
In the afternoon we arrive at Hanoi Airport and we will say goodbye to our driver and guide to take the departure flight.
